Thank you for taking the time to do my tutorial. I hope you enjoy it, and would love to see your results, and receive your feedback! This tutorial was written by Mellie on February 2, 2014 and is copyright to me, the way I word thing's and the images that I use. All other images are copyright to their respective owners, including tubes/art, font, scrapkits and templates and should not be used without purchasing or written permission, nor without reading their terms of use. This tutorial is for education purposes only and is in no way intended to be used as any other purpose. This tutorial was written with the tube and kit in mind that is being shown, therefore, you may have to adjust your setting's should you choose to use images not suggested here, in this tutorial. For this tutorial, you will need several things. Paint Shop Pro (I am using version X), and a good working knowledge of how to operate it, masks, layer palettes and plug-in filters.
For this tutorial, you will need the following items:
Tube by Deacon Black
Scrapkit by Monti - Inspired By Deacon Black
Super Blade Pro - by Flaming Pear
Preset - Clear Glass for SBP
Vix Mask 360
Chrissy's Chaos Mask 30.
Let's being!
Open paper 06, shift + D and close the original. Apply Chrissy's Mask 30, Layers>Merge>Group. Open Paper 1, copy/paste as new layer and apply Vix Mask 360, Layers>Merge>Group. Close all the papers and masks, we're done with them.
Open Element 13, copy/paste as new layer, drop shadow of choice. Open element 27, copy/paste as new layer, resize to 60%, sharpen and drop shadow of choice. Open frame 1, copy/paste as new layer, drop shadow.
Open element 6, copy/paste as a new layer, drop shadow of choice, position to right lower portion of frame. Open element 14, copy/paste as new layer, resize to 60%, sharpen and add drop shadow of choice, position over lower end of stems on roses. Open element 3, copy/paste as new layer, resize to 60%, sharpen and add drop shadow of choice. Position to the right of bow and roses, a bit.
Open element 30, copy/paste as a new layer, resize to 40%, sharpen and add drop shadow of choice. Position to top left of the frame.
Open your tube, copy paste as a new layer. Add drop shadow of choice and position to left of frame.
Open element 1, copy/paste as new layer, resize to 40%, sharpen and drop shadow of choice. Place in lower left corner of frame, over the tube layer so that she is standing behind it. Open element 2, copy/paste as new layer, resize to 30%, sharpen and drop shadow of choice. Position as top layer, over backpack layer.
Hide all 3 top layers (tube, boot and backpack) standing on one of the other layers, choose Layers>Merge>Visible and resize to 70-75%. Unhide all layers, and merge the backpack and boot layers together, resize to 70-75% as well. Make sure that is your top layer.
Add your copyright information on a new layer. Time to add your name. I am using a font called Fontdinerdotcom Huggable set at 72 point using fill color #2e4300. Add name and position as desired, select all>selections>float and add super blade pro M_CoconutIce preset. While selected go to Selections>Modify>Expand and type in 2 pixels. Add a new raster layer and flood fill with #aae5ab. Deselect, and drag this layer below the name layer. Add drop shadow of choice, and merge the two together. Merge visible layers, copy/paste as new image to crop excess pixels and save as.
That's it, we're done! Thank you for doing this tutorial. I'm glad you stopped by. I hope to have more tutorials in the near future, so keep checking back. :)
